7.2 Easter Earthquake – A Sign of Something Greater?

According to many, there was something different about the 7.2 earthquake that struck the California-Mexico border on Easter Sunday. This earthquake appeared to strike with a fury, shaking an entire mountain range as seen and recorded on video by several witnesses. Then there were the reports of houses actually sinking near the epicenter as water rose around them.
Over the next few days many residents began leaving the area saying that the shock of witnessing such an event was so great they could not live or return to the towns they once called home. One of the most frightening aspects that many residents spoke about was the water that came up through the ground through fissures and cracks. Yes, some was from broken pipes and canals, but that is not what seemed to alarm the residents. What alarmed many was that in some areas it appeared to be salt water that was coming up through the cracks. If so, it truly indicates the lateness of the hour.

It’ll be worse than the last day of Pompeii. Repent, Los Angeles.
Repent, the rest of you, and turn to God. The hour of His wrath is upon the earth. Flee while there’s time to flee, and come into Christ.
ABC Channel 7 Los Angeles The caller (In Mexicali) states, something has happened to the water table here and that in an area near the top of the Sea of Cortez, popular with water skiers, water is coming up through the roads causing them to buckle.

He said they were at a BBQ and the ground just opened up in front of them and “get this” water started bubbling up from the ground. He said “I still can’t talk about it, it was the most frightening thing you could imagine. If you don’t have religion something like this will give it to you.”

Houses Sank As Water Rose Around Them
A firefighter at a station just outside Mexicali told the Los Angeles Times that fires caused by the quake destroyed at least six homes after damaging propane tanks and severing electricity lines.
Several homes near the Cerro Prieto volcano some 31km from the quake’s epicentre sank into the ground as water rose around them, according to the firefighter, Oscar Silas.
US and Mexican seismological services said the quake, which struck at 3.40pm (0840 AEST), was shallow with a depth of just 10km. It was centred 26 kilometres southwest of Guadalupe Victoria in Baja California.
Among dozens of reported aftershocks, at least three were strong ones, including a magnitude 5.4 temblor that struck near Guadalupe Victoria, southeast of Mexicali, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

Mystery Babylon The Mother of Harlots

In Revelation the 17th and 18th chapters we are given one of the most foreboding and ominous warnings contained in the whole scripture. Herein, we find identified a great woman which is called the great whore, Mystery Babylon, and the mother of harlots.
She is also identified as the mother of the abominations of the earth. She stands above all others as a direct enemy to Jesus Christ and the influence; of His church, and Her own seductive spell has swept from the kings to the inhabitants of the earth. She is Satan’s queen (Revelation 18:-7-1 sit as a queen and am no widow). So alluring and cunning are her enchantments that Revelation 17:8 tells us that the only ones who will not wonder but know her for what she is will be those whose names are written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. All the world will eventually bow down and become a part of her and her daughter system.
It is against her and her children, that at this time of coming judgment, God has turned his face and with her particularly does the book of Revelation deal with as it speaks of the wrath to be poured out upon a wicked and unrepentant world.
The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages and The Seven Seals

And now tonight, we are–have a–starting on the subject of the “Breach Between the Seven Church Ages and the Seven Seals.” And I was just speaking this afternoon to a friend. And maybe, the Lord willing, sometime this summer, if He doesn’t take me home, or–or I get to come back (don’t go overseas or something), I would like to strike again at the seven last trumpets (See?), and it all bridges together. And–and then there is the seven last plagues, and–and it all blends right together as we’ll see as we go along.
